News from Artists of the West Elks

Rebecca Weil has recently been voted in as AWE’s new President. A big thank you to Ben McLoughlin for all you have done for AWE in the last four years. Welcome Rebecca!

Crested Butte Inspirations, a juried show featuring AWE members, will be on view at the Piper Gallery in the Crested Butte Center for the Arts from June 22 – July 5. This exhibition is part of ARTrageous- A Day of the Arts on July 3rd, sponsored by the Crested Butte Arts Alliance. Juror Casey Krawczyk, Assistant Professor of Art at Western State College in Gunnison is excited about the “fabulous” work by AWE members presented in this show.

AWEfest will take place on Jul 11th and August 15th! Artists– you can still receive more information about participating and a late application by contacting Rebecca at thirdeyephoto1@gmail.com
