What motivates Bren to paint? The drive deep within that has resided in her since childhood. It is what defines her as an individual and an artist. Corn states, "This truly feels like something I should be doing. We all have a purpose here, and it should surround our passions." As she continues along, she refines her ability to see the world around her. The end result is a personalized form of art.

As history creates itself, art will always play an important role within it. Every artist should encompass their own distinct technique identifying thier creative skill. Those are the ones that influence and the ones remembered. When Corn works and creates a piece of art, she reinvents technique to come to a conclusion. It is a consideration to set herself apart. The freedom of Bren's brushstroke clearly exhibit her respect of the child-like spirit and trust found in honoring one's passions in life. She states, "Art is always redefined and rediscovered." "Ultimately, you won't see what I see". The sensations that are projected onto the viewer and the emotions that are evoked are key to its survival.
"I empty myself on the canvas and capture what is real to me and passionate about every piece I do. When people are looking at my work or talking about it or even not liking it, it's good. I paint from life and what I interpret as life and where I somtimes want to be. It still blows my mind to see what ends up on the canvas."
