For the past seven years, Rebecca Weil has been successfully running Third Eye Photography, a boutique specializing in nature, abstract, fine art, portrait and decorative photography, mixed media, and social commentary art. She gained valuable experience as the lead photographer for the Crested Butte News upon moving to Crested Butte in 2004, shortly after graduating with a photojournalism degree from the prestigious Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University. She has also worked as an overseas reporter and as a photographer for the Lewisburg Ledger in Westchester County, New York.

Weil’s photographs and writings have been published in a variety of publications in Colorado, New York and Montana.
