Born in Philadelphia, PA, I started creating art at an early age. As a child I had a growing collection of acorns, leaves, feathers, and many other things I found on the ground. Today, I continue to be inspired by nature and organic materials. Living in Crested Butte since 2005 has afforded me endless inspiration from our beautiful surroundings.
Often times we find ourselves so busy that we miss the simple beauty in everyday things. Through my art I strive to convey the beauty of simplicity, showcasing nature piece by piece. Each wildflower and pebble used is handpicked for its shape, texture and color, then combined to form a landscape from which it came, or left alone to show its own natural beauty.
