I have been drawing and painting Crested Butte for 40 years, having arrived here from England in 1969. Recently I have been painting landscapes in oil and acrylic. However, I always do find that I want to come back to my first love, which is drawing– the basis of all representational art. Over the years I have enjoyed capturing the history of Crested Butte through pen and ink drawings of the historic buildings. I also am in love with the wildflowers of this area and am presently working on some new watercolor pieces. Gallery 3 is my most recent venture, following Anderton Studio and Anderton Gallery.
